On behalf of the Board and Management, I welcome you to the School of Graduate Studies, KNUST, currently one of Ghana’s largest Graduate Schools. Established in 1974, the main objective of the School is to train and develop graduates in higher degrees with specialized skills in Science and Technology.

 Higher education in Africa has, over the years, been strategically positioned to contribute to national development. At the postgraduate level, there is a growing interest in the ability to link research and innovation to societal transformation. This, therefore, makes university education an important vehicle towards the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Africa Union Agenda 2063 and other developmental agenda.

 Since its inception, the School of Graduate Studies, KNUST has trained thousands of students by equipping them with the requisite knowledge and skills set needed in shaping the development path of Ghana, countries across Africa and beyond.
