The Environmental Science programme is open to candidates with First Class or Second Class (Upper/Lower) Division degrees or its equivalent from a recognized institution, in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Geography and Applied Sciences.

Entry requirements for admission to other MPhil programmes are as follows

At the time of application, applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution in the relevant field of study. Preference will be given to applicants with a First Class or Second Class (Upper/Lower) Division degrees. Applicants are encouraged to apply in any of the fields listed in (d) below.

Entry Requirements for admission into PhD programmes are as follows

Candidates applying for Doctor of Philosophy degree must have a Master’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution and shall submit evidence of funding and demonstrate ability to undertake original research in any of the following fields: Parasitology, Ecology, Entomology, Plant/Animal Physiology, Microbiology, Plant Pathology, Reproductive Biology, Plant/Animal Systematics, Molecular Biology, Fish and Fisheries Science and Genetics
